The Azden "Red" Series of infrared wireless microphones is the solution for classrooms, auditoriums, churches, conference/meeting rooms, and health clubs, and where ever security is an issue.

The two-channel IRR-30 receiver allows the use of two mics at the same time. Each channel has its own frequency and every IRR-30 uses the same two frequencies. The receiver's built-in sensor array allows complete freedom of movement in a 1600-sq.ft. room. For larger rooms, up to three wall/ceiling mountable external sensors (IRD-30 or IRD-60) increase the working distance. If the receiver is mounted in a secured cabinet the third sensor input disables and replaces the receiver's internal sensor.

The heart of the Azden infrared system is the IRR-30P powered, dual-channel receiver. It allows you to use and control the volume of 2 wireless microphones simultaneously, either for "team-teaching, or to use the handheld microphone for student pass-around. The receiver also has 2 stereo auxiliary inputs so that other line-level devices (CD players, MP3 players, VCRs, etc.) can be attached and played through the system. The teacher can also send the audio to a recorder or video camera, using the line-level output jack. For bigger rooms or odd-shaped rooms up to 3 additional external sensors can be attached. With all 4 of the ceiling speakers attached to the IRR-30P, sound is spread equally throughout the room, allowing all students to hear equally.

The single-channel IRR-15 has the same basic features as the IRR-23, but with only one channel, and is for those on a budget. Later, you can add a second receiver on another channel and get the same results as the IRR-23.

A lightweight, chest worn, microphone/transmitter, the IRN-10 comes with an adjustable lanyard. It is both a microphone and infrared transmitter which wirelessly "links" the teacher to the IRR-30P receiver. It has a specially designed internal microphone array which provides great sound pick-up. With two switchable channels, a teacher can go from classroom to classroom with the same microphone! With just two "AA" batteries (alkaline or rechargeable 1HR-3U only) the microphone can be used the entire school day without re-charging or changing batteries.

For pass-around, use the 2-channel IRH-10 handheld unidirectional mic/transmitter. Multiple emitters around the base and near the mic element flood the room. An anti-roll ring around the mic head keeps the IRH-10 from rolling off a sloping lectern or school desk.

The perfect handheld "pass-around" microphone for student participation, this dual channel microphone/transmitter, operates on the channel that the teacher is not using. It is powered by two "AA" batteries (alkaline or rechargeable - 1HR-3U only) and is compatible with all Azden infrared models.

The IRD-60 is an externally mounted infrared sensor that is used with the IRR-10, IRR-23 receivers and the APS 25 speaker system that has the APS-IRII installed. The sensor is fitted with an "F" connector and comes with a ceiling mounting bracket.
